Clear enough to test. Honest enough to trust.
Lab Excellence is designed to help Australian laboratory teams organise assets, maintenance, facilities activity and supporting evidence. Trust starts with making the system's role explicit: it can structure records, restrict access and preserve operational context, but it cannot replace qualified judgement, site controls or an organisation's own governance.
The statements in this centre describe the current platform and service position. Contract-specific commitments, responsibilities and service levels only apply when they are included in an agreed written scope.
The controls that support the operating record.
Scoped workspaces
Organisation membership and assigned roles are used to limit what signed-in users can view or change.
Evidence checks
Uploaded files are checked against permitted types and signatures, checksummed and linked to their organisation and asset context.
Recorded actions
Authentication events and selected operational actions are recorded to support traceability and review.
Defined boundaries
Security, privacy, compliance support and commercial responsibilities are explained separately so that assumptions are easier to challenge.
Good records depend on good operating practice.
Lab Excellence is responsible for
- Operating the platform controls described in this trust centre.
- Scoping services and responsibilities before an engagement begins.
- Handling information for legitimate service, security and operational purposes.
- Correcting material public statements when the service position changes.
Clients remain responsible for
- Authorising users, selecting suitable roles and promptly removing access when it is no longer needed.
- Providing accurate, lawful information and uploading files from trusted sources.
- Reviewing obligations, technical decisions and evidence with appropriately qualified people.
- Maintaining the physical, procedural and workforce controls around their laboratory.
Evidence is useful when its limits stay visible.
This centre is a plain-language account of current controls. It is not an independent audit report, penetration-test attestation, ISO certification, NATA accreditation or legal opinion. No maturity score, customer count or uptime commitment is stated here; any service-level commitment belongs in an agreed written scope.
Where a tender, risk review or procurement process needs more detail, we can discuss the relevant platform architecture, data handling and scope boundaries without disclosing information that would weaken security.
Bring the risk questions forward.
Use the enquiry form for security, privacy, procurement or compliance questions. Please avoid including passwords, live access tokens, sensitive research data or detailed vulnerability instructions in the first message. We will establish an appropriate way to continue the conversation.
